IFA Sports Code of Conduct
Respect code of conduct
- Observe the FA’s respect code for spectators.
- Children play for fun.
- Acknowledge effort and good play as well as achievement.
- Respect the referee’s decisions
- Appreciate good play from all teams.
- Let the coaches do their job, do not tell the players what to do.
- Never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting, or abusive language or behaviour.
- Always remain behind the touchline or in the designated spectator areas.
I understand if I do not follow the code of conduct the following actions may be taken:
- Issued with a verbal warning
- Required to meet with the club or Welfare Officer
- Take the FA education course
- Asked to leave the game being played
- Not to attend future matches
- Club membership removed
Also, the FA/County FA could impose a fine or suspension to the club
